I hand-picked the team at Quantum. We only hire the best. I’ve carefully curated a group of the brightest minds in engineering, finance, business, operations, marketing, sales. We have incredible partners. We are truly BUILDING BETTER SOLUTIONS.
We are persevering despite the disparagement from our competitors. And now, I know that they are scared. Scared of what Quantum can do. And they should be.
I’m a big fan of Malcom Gladwell’s book David and Goliath. Gladwell explains that what most people don’t realize is that David actually had HUGE advantages over Goliath: “David was a slinger, and slingers beat infantry, hands down.”
And that’s exactly what Quantum is: better than our competitors, hands down. Not because we have a lucky sling, but because we are the giant company’s worst nightmare – an agile, experienced, and hungry warrior.
We are better at what we do because we LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER and BUILD BETTER SOLUTIONS. And we are going to continue to persevere, win deals, and shake up this industry.
“The very thing that gave the giant his size was also the source of his greatest weakness. The powerful and the strong are not always what they seem.” ― Malcolm Gladwell, David and Goliath

In April 2016, I made the decision to start Quantum Wireless. I had no idea what the future would hold, but I knew I wanted to step out on my own and give it a shot.
I worked out of my dining room for several months as a one-man show. I was lucky – I had 15+ years in the industry and a tremendous network of strategic partners and supporters that I was able to leverage right out of the gate. I very quickly realized we needed to grow – we moved into an office, added people to our team, secured capital.
Within two years of our official launch, Quantum started to explode. We couldn’t grow fast enough. Today, we regularly find ourselves competing against large, publicly traded companies that have endless people and resources… and we are winning.
I sometimes hear from my customers and partners that the bigger guys are trash talking us – “Quantum is too small,” “they don’t have enough experience,” blah, blah… and because I am very well connected in our space, this misinformation and slandering gets back to me. And rather than sling mud back at these companies, I take the high road. Usually, I just need to explain to the customer more about our company and our people, because it’s definitely more about the quality of the people who will be building your solution than the size of the organization. Most customers would rather work with a smaller, dedicated team of highly intelligent experts than a large, bureaucratic, constantly changing group of people who are just phoning it in every day.
